During his studies, he received various appraisals, for example, the Czech Society of Cinematographers (AČK), FAMUfest or Ostrava Kamera OKO Cinematographers Film festival awards. CAMERIMAGE film festival selected the short film Streetwalker for its 2016 edition. His long life interest in science and philosophy reflects on his work immensely, as seen in another one of his short films, A Pale Blue Dot, touching the transcendence theme via the connection between science and belief. He considers Terrence Malick and Darren Aronofsky as his significant influence. He loves architecture, especially brutalism and graphic design and is currently working on several feature film debuts.
